“Back to Church on Sunday” part of a nationwide movement of churches across America, will be at First Baptist Church in Dunkirk at 10 a.m. Sunday. All are welcome.

Since it began as a call to action and an invitation for the church in 2009, the national Sunday Back to Church movement marks its thirteenth year and continues to gain momentum. Over 5 million followers of Christ participated across 40,000 churches! Eight out of ten people say they are ready to visit the church if they are invited – they are just waiting for an invitation. So even if you haven’t been personally invited yet, Pastor Mark Massaro wants you to come see what the church is all about.

For Back to Church Sunday, First Baptist Church invites the community to join us for a 10 a.m. worship service followed by a Kick Off themed meal and entertainment on the lawn. Wear your favorite Bills jersey and get ready to enjoy the day with us.

Our topic today is “Hope Happens Here” that fills a real need in today’s culture. After two years of isolation and conflict in our communities, people are ready to come together and find authentic community and hope for a better world. Now is a great time to join or try a local church to find restoration, purpose, and hope.

First Baptist Church believes there has never been a better time than now for people to come back and connect with a church that provides friendships, opportunities to serve the community, and a place to grow spiritually through a journey of personal faith.

First Baptist Church is a welcoming local congregation located at 876 Central Ave. in Dunkirk. You will find convenient parking and easy access. For more information, go to dunkirkbaptist.org/hope-happens-here or call 716-366-6634.
