Christmas Eve candlelight service at the First Presbyterian Church in Cranford

THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH INVITES YOU TO THE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE OF CHRISTMAS EVE

the Cranford First Presbyterian Church (FPCC) invites you to the Christmas Eve candle light service at 4:00 p.m. December 24, 2021. The service will be in person and online on Facebook and YouTube. Register in advance is recommended for in-person worship and can be done on the website at firstprescranford.org/Christmas or by calling (908) 276-8440. Information on COVID-related safety precautions is also available on the website.

Reverend Daniel A. Velez-Acevedo will lead a traditional Christmas Eve service with familiar Christmas carols, perfect for families and anyone looking to celebrate with full choirs and organ music. The music will be conducted by the Chancel Choir, conducted by Elsa Hahn and accompanied by organist Robert Grube. Featured soloists include Lynn Pinto, formerly of the Metropolitan Opera, and local recording artist, Kelli Bruno. During the final hymn, “Silent Night, Holy Night,” the lights will be dimmed and candle light will fill the shrine.

Can’t come on Christmas Eve? We will be back at the Sanctuary Sunday morning January 2nd at 10:00 am for a relaxed and fun service of lessons and Christmas carols. The December 26 Service will be pre-registered and online only.
