Queen Creek Church Holds Christmas Market

The second annual Merry & Bright Christmas Market will be held on Saturday, November 26 (Small Business Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Queen Creek Campus of Central Christian Church located at 22505 E. Ocotillo Road.
The event is sponsored by Central Women Ministries, but is an event for the entire Queen Creek community. Families are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Parking is free and entry to the market is one new unopened toy (per family) or cash donation to support the “Fill the Sled” campaign in partnership with local schools.
All toys collected will be distributed to local schools who will then donate them to parents in need (registration is done through schools).
This year, the market will feature over 70 local artisans and vendors in three different indoor spaces and two outdoor spaces. Vendors will offer a wide variety of items ranging from Christmas wreaths to candies, handmade jewelry and items embroidered on site. All vendors accept cash and most accept credit/debit cards as payment.
There will be supervised and secure daycare available for $5 for an hour. This is limited to children in kindergarten through 6th grade and they can watch Christmas movies and games. All nurses have been authorized to supervise the children.
Another feature this year is a raffle with items from local Queen Creek businesses, vendors and other central ministries. Tickets will be on sale (cash only) for $1 each or six for $5. The draws will take place that day at 1:45 p.m. Winners do not need to be present. All money raised from the raffle will also be used to buy toys and gift cards for “Fill the Sleigh”.
