Ready for 2 big concerts? Eric Church invades Michigan

Many country superstars are touring Michigan cities like Detroit and Grand Rapids this year. Artists like Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band and Dierks Bently are already on the books for 2022.

This weekend, Eric Church will bring his country-rock music to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids and Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit. I will be reviewing the show with photos early next week and have seen Eric several times.

The last time Eric Church played in Michigan

Last time was a little over 2 years ago in Detroit, when you scroll down you’ll see pictures I took with my phone at that show. Eric has always been kind enough to hang out with us radio people before the show and always takes a picture of Jack Daniels with us before he goes on stage.

Whether you’re a huge Eric Church fan or just love country music, you’re in for a treat this weekend if you go to one of the 2 shows. On Friday, he will be at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids and on Saturday at the Little Ceasers in Detroit.

Caddy and Eric

Caddy & EricSomething special about these 2 shows

Eric will be on tour for this tour, which means there won’t be a bad seat in the house. He’s certainly come a long way after hitting the country music scene in 2006 with his hit debut album “Sinners Like Me.”

He did a free acoustic show for our listeners at a station I worked at in Las Vegas in 2007 and we all knew he was special and was going to be a big star.

Enjoy the shows this weekend and there are still tickets available at Ticketmaster.
