Youth leader donates drill hole to church, charges Thanksgiving Christians

Amb. Isaac Kigbu, Chairman of Eggon Youth Movement (EYM,) donated a motorized borehole to the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) Akaleku, Nasarawa State.

Kigbu said this is part of contributing to the development of the Church, the Akaleku community and society as a whole.

He said this during the commissioning of the drilling and the 85th birthday thanksgiving service for his mother, Mrs. Salamatu Kigbu, at the ERCC Akaleku on Sunday.

According to the youth leader, whoever provides water, provides life, as human beings cannot live without water, saying it is in recognition of this reality that he makes the donation.

He explained that the birthday thanksgiving in honor of the mother was to appreciate that God had protected and guided her throughout her 85-year stay on earth.

“We celebrate God’s faithfulness to our mother’s life.

“Our mother is the one who takes care of us since the death of our father on July 30, 1984.

“We thank God that our mother raised us properly and with one hand; and so we celebrate his 85th birthday today to appreciate God for his life,” said.

The President urged mothers to ensure proper upbringing of their children in a godly manner for the good of society.

Miss Hannatu Bala, Commissioner for Special Tasks and Legal Affairs, appreciated Kigbu for the donation of the borehole.

Abimiku prayed to God to bless him abundantly.

The commissioner congratulated Mrs. Kigbu on her birthday and wished her more health and health.

She used the occasion to call on the people of the state to support Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023.

Reverend Akolo Luke, Lecturer at ERCC Fada Ayu Theological Seminary, Kaduna State, who chaired the a serviceurged Christians and other Nigerians to always give thanks to God no matter what their circumstances.

Luke also urged parents to lead an exemplary life in order to inherit the kingdom of God.

In response, Reverend Amos Monday, the Reverend Church Leader, also thanked Kigbu for the kind gesture and prayed to God to bless him abundantly.
